Wise Beyond Years

Two-time award winning author Bettye Johnson's interview with Renee Webb, host of for Women of the World, World Puja Network is titled "Wise Beyond Years." Johnson shares her insights and experiences of an 80 year life on the status of women. Using her own experiences from being born the year of the Great Depression of the last century, Johnson shares her involvement with women and the issues facing women today.

Bettye Johnson has been a Federal Women’s Program Coordinator for a government district office and has conducted workshops on women’s issues. In addition, she is a retired ordained minister having been trained in the ministry of Divine Science and a former program director for a holistic health center. Johnson also facilitated a support group for survivors of incest and rape. She was active in the movement to have the Equal Rights Amendment passed. The Amendment is still alive and needs three states to have it become an amendment.
Bettye Johnson is an international author. Two of her books have received Independent Publishers Book Awards: Secrets of the Magdalene Scrolls, 2006 and Mary Magdalene, Her Legacy in 2008. Bettye's latest book Awakening the Genie Within is a semi-memoir self-help book. She has also published A Christmas Awakening.
