Author Bettye Johnson will hold a workshop in Olympia, Washington on Saturday, June 13, 2009 from 9:30 - 2:30 p.m. Using her background of workshops for the Federal Women's Program as a coordinator for a government district office, Johnson brings her research and application of the topics to be addressed.
The topics are "Why the female power was subjugated to male power;" "Moving out of the Shadow into the 21st Century;" "Reweaving the past into the future;" "Creating your personal Life Map." and "Balancing your unique personal power."
The workshop is being held at the Olympia Center, 222 Columbis St. NW, Olympia, WA 98504. Cost is $50.00. Pre-registration is on-line using Paypal at http://magdalenescrolls.com. Click on Bookstore. Bettye Johnson's books Secrets of the Magdalene Scrolls and Mary Magdalene, Her Legacy are both Independent Publishers Book Awards Winners. Johnson's backgroud includes working for the U.S. Embassies Paris and Tokyo. She has been a Federal Women's Program Coordinator for a government district office and conducted workshops on women's issues. She is a retired ordained minister. Her latest book is Awakening the Genie Within, a semi-memoir.
