THE BLOODLINE MEETS SECRETS OF THE MAGDALENE SCROLLS
What is Bloodline about? The area surrounding Rennes-le Chateau features prominently in the bloodline legend, which follows the premise that Mary Magdalene escaped Jerusalem with child, sailed to France and settled in the region. This is an intriguing film beginning with a hidden underground tomb found in the Languedoc region of southwest France, which has been discovered by an English adventurer, Ben Hammott. His discovery and the documentary takes the viewer on a journey of unraveling strands of a longtime mystery involving Mary Magdalene, the Knights Templar and it may challenge the tenets of Christianity.
The relics were not removed, and the team was able to extract a few hair strands from the corpse found and have undergone testing by the Paleo-DNA Laboratory at Lakehead University in Ontario, Canada.
Bloodline premiered May 9 at the Village East in New York and will premier May 16 at the Laemmiele' Sunset 5 in Los Angeles, with a platform release to follow.
