FRIEND FROM NOVOSIBIRSK, SIBERIA, RUSSIA


Bettye with Larisa Cherepanova of Novosibirsk, Siberia, Russia at the Third International Women's Peace Conference, Dallas, Texas, July 10-15, 2007.


Larisa and her husband Igor brought a delegation of ten from Novosibirsk. Their enthusiasm was infectious and added to the conference along with their presentations and colorful costumes. Larisa is a songwriter and poet in addition to being Director of the Center "Women Together" in Novosibirsk.
